So this place is cult ... what you might hear called a 'Traditionshaus' in German with the Böcklers having been in business for almost a century now & having a couple of locations in the region. Class, 'können' & that glorious German efficiency all rolled up and served for breakfast. I ordered my hot chocolate with cream & then understood how you don't need cream when the hot chocolate is genuinely expertly made. Eggs Benedict on the menu was perfect. The breakfast menu goes on for two pages, so flip the page or you might miss what turns out to be the highlight of your day. Cash and card payments accepted, including Amex & reservations possible between 09h00 & 09h30 (really, I kid you not, please believe me on this one). Packed for breakfast mostly but you have good walk-in chances from 11h00.

We came in for a piece of back forest cake after several places didn't have it. We ended up staying for a meal, and we weren't sorry. The salmon on French toast was amazing as was the black forest cake. It was so yummy!

We had pancakes for the kids , we also had pretzels croissant eggs they were all great. The service was great too, the waiter was attendant and caring .. I highly recommend it for breakfast when you visit Baden Baden 👌🏻

My two friends and I went there for the first time and its been our first time to Baden Baden in general.
After we got seated we had to wait for a very long time for someone to serve us. After we gave out what we wanted to drink, the service staff rolled with her eyes and left without a single word.
The Coffee was good!

After reaching out multiple times and trying to pay, staff always ignored us and even waved us away. When we finally got to pay the service staff was annoyed and basically didnt listen to us.

Before we got to leave the Café we overheard how the service stuff cursed about another visitor that had just asked a question.

All in one, the coffee was good and we‘ve been nothing but respectful but the service we got was very disappointing. All we wantdd to do is drink some coffee

Five stars for great service, my waitress was attentive, sincere, had good eye contact, spoke German and English.

Five stars for ambience. There is plenty of seating. The pastry display is also impressive.

There was a variety of cakes to choose from, but I opted for the Black Forest cake. It was my first time trying it and honestly it was not my favorite. There was more cream than cake and the alcohol taste was strong. The sweetness level was just right, but I would have loved a hint more of vanilla in the cream. The presentation was beautiful, though. I do not know what Black Forest cake should taste like, but next time I would venture for a different cake.

Okay, the Winter salad was amazing ! It was fresh, it had beautiful colors, it had a variety of greens: endives, sprouts, pickled red cabbage and onions, Vibrant red currants, pumpkin seeds, a light creamy lemon dressing. Just try it.

The potato soup was acceptable. The bread that came with it was awesome and hearty ,better than the US.

I would come here again.

Probably the best cafe nearby the concert hall to drink a cup of strong coffee and to eat a cake. If the breakfast is included in the price of your room, you should forget it, and have your breakfast in Bockeler. The place is stylish, and the service is good. I am a big fan of their apple pie, they definitely have a secret to bake it!

It's a good relaxed rest stop in the old town. This is a better coffee place in Baden Baden. Pastries here are good, but I won't say it is the best here. Plenty of outdoor seating.
