My second time at Nineteen Hyaku, and I'm already looking forward to my third and forth. The atmosphere was on point, the food was tasty, and on time. The server was patient and courteous. She checked in on us very often.

I definitely recommend dining here. The experience is top notch and unforgettable. A+

Cool modern atmosphere, friendly people, fun! The flavors were so complex and clean. Highly recommend that wagyu gyoza and the midori sour. The sushi bento was a wonderful combo of buttery soft fish. What a real treat! Thank you!

Fantastic place across the board. Not sure why others are down scoring the food here —quality, flavor, plating, etc. were all on point, albeit non-traditional. Our server, Vanessa (if I remember correctly), was wonderful and as my wife described it, it’s a “super vibe-y place.” Great date night spot. Highly recommend the spring gyoza, chef’s choice nigiri and finish with one of the snow crab hand rolls.

Beautiful and unique dining experience. The food presentation was amazing. It was absolutely delicious. You have to try the Wagyu Gyoza!!! Savored every bite!! We had the Miso soup The serrano Hiramasa roll had a little kick, not too spicy. The LemonKani roll was yummy with a lemon flavor. The cocktails were a little sweet but delicious. The atmosphere was loud, we sat upstairs a little quieter. The restaurant is first class. Very boujee. My new favorite!!

Very very great handmade sushi. This is a very picturesque restaurant, most people were dressed up rather nicely, we were unprepared so less as much as others. All of the appetizers orders were wonderful, a little pricey but definitely delicious!

Nineteen Hyaku is the hottest new culinary sensation in San Antonio, rivaling the sushi scenes of New York and Miami. But it's not just about the raw fish here - the hot dishes are equally divine:

1. Spring Gyoza: Delicate dumplings bursting with seasonal flavors.

2. Shrimp Tempura: Perfectly crisp, light-as-air battered shrimp.

3. Chicken Karaage: Japanese-style fried chicken that's juicy and addictive.

4. Chicken Tsukune: Savory chicken meatballs, grilled to perfection.

5. TX Wagyu Skewer: Melt-in-your-mouth local beef that's pure luxury.

Don't miss the Agave Bloom cocktail - it's hands down one of the best mezcal drinks I've ever tasted. Nineteen Hyaku isn't just a meal, it's an experience that's putting San Antonio on the culinary map!

Upscale sushi restaurant near the Pearl with great vibes - perfect for a special occasion (not with the kids). Rachel was an amazing server and went above and beyond to accommodate a friend with food allergies!

Great atmosphere, good drinks- food was ok. Tried several dishes and the best was the chicken Karaage, wagyu beef, Akami Carpaccio and edamame. Most of the food was plain, lacked flavor. Food presentation is good, but the place is not an “experience” for what you’re paying. It’s a pretty restaurant.
