Heißt jetzt Kirner Wirtshaus. Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Preisleistung Verhältnis ist in Ordnung.

Die Bewertung betrifft ausschliesslich das Restaurant. Das Essen und das Ambiente sind gut. Der Service ist wenig zuvorkommend, unfreundlich und unaufmerksam und macht den Charme der Lage unbedeutend. Insgesamt nicht weiterzuempfehlen.

The Hotel is situated right at the Marktplatz in Kirn. If you are lucky you will get a room with view to the Market Square. At the ground floor is a restaurant which is also the place to enter for the check in. Hint: The restaurant opening hours limit the check in times. Once you have checked in you can leave and come through the backdoor. It seems that the hotel is currently under renovation. The bathroom looked quite new and modern and was very spacious. Surprisingly for a new bathroom some things looked re-used again and not properly fixed (for example the mirror was not horizontal and some frame decoratiopn of it was peeling off - ugly). Frontdoor, bathroom and sleeping room were connected via a spacious corridor. The sleeping room itself was also spacious, but the room appeard to look more like a youth hostel room (although the furniture certainly was not cheap crap). There was also a TV, but very very small.||The price included breakfast, but is served in a near by coffee shop. This was good.||Taking the season and country side area into account I think the price should have been less.

We were driving through multiple villages, I was dead tired, and my wife & I came across Kirn where we decided to find a hotel for the night. We found this place in the central square and were very pleasantly surprised by the quality AND affordability. 75 Euros for a nice quiet room away from the square (poor view, but the hotel is surrounded by buildings except on the square side), a decent sized bathroom & shower, and the owner was a very pleasant, stout man who gave us everything we needed. The furniture is simple, not luxurious, but that's not what we were looking for. We got lucky, as it was a Friday night, and there was live music in the square, and it was full of hundreds of people having a great time. My wife & I danced, ate pizzas from the hotel restaurant, and drank a beer. Breakfast was included, though you just walk down the street to a local bakery. This was an excellent find, very reasonable for what you get, comfortable, and exceptionally clean.

Worst server ever. Most impolite and rude person I have ever met. He was the older man with glasses. I was there with my family of three and he was horrible.
