I'm posting this review in the hope that it helps another family because when I was desperately searching for help during the worst time of my life, I was so grateful for other people taking the time to review their experiences. Anyway, my mother was very unexpectedly and shockingly diagnosed with end stage cancer out of nowhere. She lived out of state and I hopped a plane and brought her back here with no plan in place and no idea of what to do. This hospice was able to admit her the very next day. The doctor, administration, nurses and volunteers were all very compassionate, helpful and caring. There is a beautiful outdoor area where we were able to spend time with family. They have a common area stocked with snacks, drinks, tables, puzzles and toys (greatly appreciated when having two young children spending long days with us). The staff was wonderful in helping us through this awful time. I'm so grateful for this facility and all the people there. They even offer grief counseling afterwards and they keep calling to check on you months later.

My grandmother was there for 4 days. They treated her with the most undermost respect and treated all of us family members like were family , they helped us prepare for the inevitable. If you know someone who needs the end of life care like hospice I highly recommend this location.

Our loved one was admitted to this facility for end of life care. Throughout the two weeks we spent there, our large group of family & friends came and went at all hours, having positive interactions. The staff was attentive, gracious, caring, and treated our loved one with dignity. The facility was clean and quiet, the outdoor space (with paved walking paths & a top notch BBQ grill) was welcoming & lovely. The nice selection of food was fresh and made to order.
This facility does not affiliate with the Veterans Administration but they did bill Medicare & our supplemental insurance correctly. There is a fee of $180 per day that is not billable to Medicare or private insurance, so every patient should be prepared to pay that out of pocket.

Above and beyond for both of our parents, for years apart. Cannot express enough about the care and kindness of the entire staff. Nurse Mary is truly an angel who helps patients and families during such a difficult time. Forever thankful.

My best friend died there Monday. She was there less than 24 hrs. The staff from the nurses Dee and Sharon were remarkable. From the house keep to the volunteer awesome and so compassionate. Highly recommend this place. She died peaceful and compassionately.

The staff at Thomas P. Perciak Family Residential Hospice are saints among us. Their compassionate care for my father, as Parkinson's disease finally took him from us, was a tremendous comfort for my family. They did a wonderful job of engaging us to keep us informed of what was happening while respecting the time we wanted to spend with Dad in those last few days. Everyone with whom we interacted was truly kind to us and made us feel welcome during a confronting and difficult time.

The staff at Thomas P. Perciak Family Residential Hospice were exceptional in the care that they provided my mother. Our family felt so supported as we watched our mother go through the process of dying and going to her eternal heavenly home. The staff showed love and compassion for mom and our family. They made mom laugh and fed her ice cream when that is all she wanted to eat. The staff were truly angels and dedicated to their patients.

Terrible experience. The place is not staffed to handle their patients. Typically only have 3-4 nurses in the building for the ten rooms. They can only monitor the patients every ten minutes or so. They are not physically capable of handling some of the more distressed patients. Due to lack of staffing if all nurses are needed in one room all the other rooms will just have to wait. Not sanitary. Watched a nurse spill bloody urine and wipe it up with a paper towel. Never returned to sanitize. Yes the staff is “nice”, but the staff is not capable. Send family elsewhere, please.
